Kia ora and welcome, my name is Moana and I come from Aoteraoa NZ and am a descendant of the Waikato and Te Arawa nations.
I also have lineage that links me to the UK, Ireland, Scotland and Nordic European regions.
My intention whenever I am painting is to be open to the invitation to explore who we are, what is influencing us right now and what do we want to do with this information. How can we bring forward our own unique voice, light and essence in these furiously changing times?
I live for soul speaking transformative art, medicine and story art that honours our cultural legacy and celestial lineage, bringing in a new perspective. Every painting I do is infused with the energy of Aroha/Compassion and Hope.
My focus is to create and share art that inspires curiosity and celebration of who we are and our connections.
I am hugely influenced and inspired by our natural world, the environment, nature and animal allies. I find the Jungian perspective on how we conceptualise and socially construct our identity through the archetypes. You will see these in my paintings. What informs us to our greater good? My intention has become to nurture my creative spirit and continue to stay curious with all sorts of methods of expression in my art.

The workshops that I offer have their foundation in the Intentional Creativity® method, which includes a mindfulness observation of your inner narrative.
I hold an Artist Shaman and Teacher archetype, and invite you to consider inquiry based learning as a way that can bring about inner transformation, exploration and insight into yourself.

I really believe that you are your own expert and embrace your own authentic being, but, we all need support right! This means exploring some layers of your story that you hold and integrating these into your NOW story.

All my workshops require NO artistic or painting experience but if you do, thats fine too! I am open to learning from you as well!
Intentional Creativity® is a step by step process. Inquiry based learning provides opportunities for you to reflect and express. I will often invite you to journal along the way so you capture arising thoughts and feelings.
Any of my offerings can be completed online. Just register to receive updates directly to your email. I will be updating on social, so make sure you follow there too.
Workshops are centered around a particular theme and numbers for each workshop will be limited. If you have a particular theme you would like explore. Please email me so we can discuss how to make this happen for you.
